Janice Zahn was born in 1936 to Henry and Myrtle Zahn, who were the owners of the South Park Jewlery Store. She was a student at South Park High School and graduated in 1954. Afterwards, she went on to attend Lamar Tech and graduated in 1958. While in school, she was a junior member of the American Red Cross. She also attended Washington Boulevard Christian Church. Abstract
Roy H. Towell, Jr. (1915-1996) was a local businessman in Beaumont, Texas. As an avid photographer, he took numerous photographs of parades, social events, and other topics of interest to him that occurred both in Beaumont and Houston. This collection consists of slides, photographs, and textual material that relate to his business and photography interest in the community in which he was a long-time resident.
