Gladys Quilliam and Jewel Harned were both prominent members of the musical community in Beaumont, Texas. Abstract Members of Mary Ogden Hayden’s family were longtime residents of Southeast Texas. Her uncle, Louis Ogden, owned a hardware store and Chevrolet dealership in Anahuac. The family was also involved in rice farming in Winnie. The collection includes photographs of students in South Park High School when Mrs. Hayden was attending, photographs of the Melody Maids while Mrs. Hayden was a member of the group, and photographs of local disasters and events which were taken by Mrs. Hayden’s brother....
