Abstract
Clyde Vincent was a lifelong resident of Port Neches, Texas, who did extensive research on the cultural and historic heritage of the Acadian people of East Texas. He founded an organization called Les Arcadians du Texas which sponsored a choral group, tours to France and Canada, and the restoration of an authentic Acadian house. Abstract
Rogayle McGlothlin was born in 1940 and grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. She became a business editor for the local newspaper, the Beaumont Enterprise and later wrote travel articles for several national magazines. This collection consists of negative slides that were taken diuring her many travel trips to places such as East Asia, Western Europe, Central America, and North America.
