Rosedale (Texas) and Rosedale Independent School District Records

Abstract

Rosedale was a small community north of Beaumont, Texas. By 1893, the town was shown on Texas railroad maps as a stop on the Texas and New Orleans Railroad. In 1949, the population was estimated at 2,000 and in the same year the Rosedale schools were consolidated with the Beaumont Independent School District. The community was absorbed in 1957 by Beaumont.
