Biographical / Historical
The South Park School District was founded in 1891 with a one-room school house that evetnually expanded after the oil boom in 1901. The first South Park High School class graduated in 1915. The school color was green, and the school mascot was the Greenies. Eventually, due to desegregation measures, the school was merged into West Brook Senior High School.

Abstract
This collection contains South Park High School football programs, as well as several issues of the Greenie Gusher newsletter from the late 1940s. The newsletter printed issues from the early 1930s until, at least, the late 1970s. South Park High School was founded in the late 1890s and expanded with the 1901 oil boom. The school mascot was the "Greenies" and the school color was green. The high school was eventually merged into West Brook High School as a desegregation measure. This collection is related to the South Park Heritage Museum Collection and contains newsletters not included in the larger collection.
