Biographical / Historical
Patrick Arthur Turner was born in Beaumont, Texas in 1944 to Thomas Blanks Turner and Lillian Edith Turner. He attended both the University of St. Thomas and St. Mary's Seminary of Houston. In 1972, Turner was ordained as a pastor by Bishop Warren L. Boudreaux. He went on to serve as the associate pastor at St. Charles Borromeo in Nederland, St. Anthony Cathedral in Beaumont, Immaculate Conception in Groves, and St. Mary in Port Arthur. He also served as the pastor at St Helen Catholic Church in 1980 and St. Louis in 1987. Turner passed away in 2003 at the age of 58.
